- Do you have a nickname? What is it, and where did you get it? Eth mostly.
- In your opinion, what is your best feature?: my ass
- What's your real birth date?: October 15, 1984
- Where do you live? Describe it: Is it messy, neat, avant-garde, sparse, etc.?: I own an aparment in San Diego and it's still quite messy.
- What is your most prized mundane possession? Why do you value it so much?: My bass
- What one word best describes you?: Musician
FAMILY QUESTIONS:
- What is your family like?: I guess you could say we're your typical Aussie family
- Who is your father, and what is he like?: My father is a wonderful man that always loved us kids.
- Who is your mother, and what is she like?: loving and caring yet over protective
- What was your parents marriage like? Were they married? Did they remain married?: they've been happily married for many years now
- What are your siblings names? What are they like?: I have a younger brother and a younger sister.
- What's the worst thing one of your siblings ever did to you? What's the worst thing you've done to one of your siblings?: teasing each other.
- Born Ethan Michael Ashby on October 15, 1984 in Melbourne Australia he is the oldest of 3 kids. He is quite close with his entire family especially after the move to the United States around the time Ethan started High School.
- He is a nerd at heart and actually made pretty decent grades in school. However he could have made MUCH better grades if he had bothered to apply himself.
- From a young age Ethan always showed a proficiency and love for music and started taking voice and guitar lessons from a very young age always dreaming of making it into the music industry one day.
- All through middle school he played in a band back in Australia and they were just starting to get known all over the area when Ethan was forced to move away from everything he'd ever known.
- Soon after he moved to the US he met Kameron Weaver in music class and they pretty much immediately best friends and inseparable. They were constantly getting kicked out of class for goofing off and enjoyed every minute of it.
- Around the same time, Ethan realized not only was he bisexual, but he had feelings for Kameron. He came clean with it and was relieved to learn that the feelings were mutual. He and Kam began to date towards the end of high school.
- Not too long after graduation, Ethan and Kam formed their band "Sarcastic Truth".
- The band was signed in 2002 and released their first album in 2003. However, it wasn't until 2005 that the group really hit it big.
- During Sarcastic Truth's rise to fame, Ethan felt a bit..well..Kurt Cobain-like is the only way to describe it, a bit of a tortured artist if you will. He always loved music, but a part of him just wanted to play music without the added bit of fame and all the insanity that goes with it.
- In May of 2009, he had enough and actually wanted to quit the band but Kameron and the others convinced him to stay until the end of the US tour.
- Yet, in July, Ethan just randomly quit the band and basically disappeared.
- Now, after a few months to sort of find himself, Ethan is back in the area and wants to reconnect with Kameron.
